After an interesting set by The Coral the hall had filled up to near capacity for Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's entrance. There were still alot of people unaware of who the band were and had obviously come early to see what the fuss in the N.M.E. was all about .The new single, "Love Burns",pricked up a few ears but the rather subdued start was turned on it's head when the band played an amazing full-on version of "White Palms" which really set the place alight. From then on the crowd were converted and the remaining 20% filtered through from the bar. The set ended with " Whatever Happened to My Rock 'n' Roll(Punk Song) a song destined to end up a classic.Fantastic! Just give the drumer a wig for the tour and we would never know the difference!!
