The Seventh Tree
Goldfrapp releases their fourth album
‘Seventh Tree’, out on 25 February, was written by Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory and was recorded at their own studio deep in the English countryside.
The deluxe CD / DVD edition of ‘Seventh Tree’ comes in a clam-shell box, containing the CD album and a DVD featuring a film about the making of the album, featuring interviews, comments and footage shot by Alison and her niece Francis Kennard, and edited by the Bafta-winning creative agency, Hi-Res.
The DVD also features the A&E video. The deluxe edition also comes with a handwritten lyric book, fold-out poster and art cards.
Alison Goldfrapp says “Seventh Tree is English romanticism with a hint of California sunshine.” while Will Gregory describes the album as “Heartache dressed in ten louche outfits”.
