‘Wake Up Call’ is released on 4 February
The Songbirds are a breath of fresh air, Lynette, Flick and Amy have already been made Paul Lester's 'Band of the Day' in the Guardian, Paul says “what a talented three-piece, sweet-pop group they are, with voices like purest sunshine and magic music that soothes the soul.”
‘Wake Up Call’ is made up of delightfully stripped down arrangements of acoustic guitar, piano and softly brushed drums, to the simplicity of gorgeous three part harmonies.
It will come as no surprise upon hearing the album that Songbirds’ inspirations come from the likes of Joni Mitchell, Eva Cassidy, The Dixie Chicks and Stevie Nicks.
