‘Ultra’ and ‘Exciter’ out on 1 October
‘Ultra’ and ‘Exciter’ are released on 1st October. These collectors item, complete with brand new individual documentaries and incredibly rare footage will also be available as deluxe downloads.
The albums represent the final part of an 18 month project that has seen the band’s entire album catalogue digitally re-mastered and remixed in 5.1 surround sound.
All the studio albums have also been re-released on beautiful deluxe vinyl editions re-cut from the re-mastered audio and packaged new gatefold sleeves. The redesigned 16-page booklet includes original LP art, new photos, lyrics, and sleeve notes by Daniel Miller. Formed in 1981, Depeche Mode - Dave Gahan, Andy ‘Fletch’ Fletcher and Martin Gore - have spent over 400 combined weeks on the UK charts and continue to win critical acclaim across the world.
Their first thirteen albums, released between 1981 and 1998, all reached the UK Top Ten, as did 2005’s Gold selling ‘Playing The Angel’.
In the process they have sold over 72 million records and played to audiences in excess of 30 million throughout their remarkable 25-year career. They remain one of the most highly regarded and passionately supported groups in modern music.
