The Thrills At Glastonbury
How was the gig like for you?
Padraic- it was amazing, we been looking forward to it a long time, Glastonbury is a cool festival - we were quite nervous and we are just glad its over and went well.
Kevin yesterday we were here sussing the place out, the weather was horrible and we were hoping it was going to be a nice day. Glastonbury is only our second festival that we've played - we were in the Isle of Wight two weeks ago.
Everything turned out as well as you could possibly hope.
Kevin- yeah it was really good, the people at the front said the sound was really and the BBC kept doing close ups and the camera almost hit my hand!
Look like you were having a really good time, you could feel it.
Kevin- You just have to look at Daniels face and you could see he was getting excited just looking out at the crowd. It was just such an amazing feeling.
Padraic- It was like watching someone else play, when you see 25,000 people.
Kevin you seen like these programmes before, its weird sitting in the place with cameras poaching in your face. Its just amazing.
What does Glastonbury and the whole feel for you mean to you, have you been here before?
Kevin We never been before, In Ireland there are just one day festivals, there was Witness which we played at, but there werent many people.
Podraic There were only a bout twenty people.
Have things changed then?
Kevin Yeah, we got a good slot there this year, so it would be good to play at a homecoming festival and so Im looking forward to that.
Whats your idea of Glastonbury?
Padraic Its very laid back in a not too hippy way, you dont see any police around, if they are here they keep a low presence and there is no violence.
